The Cloud Resume Challenge - AWS 2025

The Cloud Resume Challenge is a hands-on project designed to showcase cloud skills by building and deploying a resume using cloud services like AWS, Azure or GCP. It involves frontend hosting, backend integration, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and security best practices, demonstrating proficiency in modern cloud technologies.

Cloud Engineer 2024 / present

CX Centax SRL, Part-Time, Remote

• Designed and implemented a new PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure in AWS, significantly improving security, availability, and reliability while reducing administrative overhead.
• Led the migration from PCI-DSS v3.2.1 to PCI-DSS v4.0 while transitioning on-premises PCI-DSS infrastructure, services, and processes to the new AWS environment.
• Designed and implemented an AWS based hybrid solution for centralized log collection, management and analysis greatly improving resiliency and security while empowering the business to a faster and more effective events response.

IT System Engineer 2020 / 2024

CX Centax SRL, Full-Time, Hybrid

• Designed and implemented solutions and procedures to automate the deployment of PCs for remote work under strict time constraints, enabling the company to roll out hundreds of PCs in less than two weeks successfully mitigating the business impact of the lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Designed and implemented reliable, secure, redundant and ransomware-resistant backup systems for all company data and servers in a multi-site environment using AWS.
• Implemented a new Asset Management and Inventory solution for the automated tracking of client and server systems, both on-premises and remote, eliminating the risk of human error in managing an inventory of over 500 client devices.
• Designed and implemented an on-premises infrastructure compliant with the PCI-DSS v3.2.1 standard, decoupling the in-scope infrastructure from the non-in-scope environment to simplify management and auditing.
• Implemented HIPS, Antimalware, EDR, and XDR solutions by migrating from a client-server-based paradigm to a SaaS solution with centralized endpoint management, enhancing security and visibility while reducing administrative overhead.
• Managed the project and migration of firewalls in a multi-site environment with dynamic routing and extensive VPN interconnections with data centers and third-party offices.
• Designed and implemented procedures for conducting Vulnerability Assessments using industry-leading tools, along with analysis methods for categorizing and prioritizing findings through matrices based on CVSS and EPSS scores, thereby streamlining remediation activities.

• Managed day-to-day operations for the administration and maintenance of Windows 10 clients, both on-premises and remote.
• Provided first-level troubleshooting for hardware, operating systems, networking, and application-related issues.
• Handled provisioning and deprovisioning of non-critical user accounts.
• Supported network infrastructure maintenance, with a specific focus on hardware.
• Assisted in network and server infrastructure monitoring using the SNMP protocol.
• Performed manual provisioning and installation of Windows 10 clients, both on-premises and remote.
• Updated Asset Management and Inventory systems manually.
• Assisted in operations related to application testing, Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Tests.
